Dear Sir or Madame now tasked with the duties previously vacated by Wizard Peabody,
Herein is my report of the curious supernatural events from Wednesday the 29th of August, 2012. We have recently had activity involving a Fae entity I had long considered uniquely European in origin. The Germanic entity known in some circles as the “Earlking’s Daughter” has become active in local matters. I defer to the Council’s more comprehensive resources to determine if the entity is “The” or “One of” the Earlking’s offspring. Obviously Wizard Peabody was an authority on the topic – but he is no longer available to consult on the matter.
Four or five members of the Earlking’s Wyldfae “Court” – Goblins – took possession of a home in south-central Dallas and devoured the resident (Mrs. Lucinda Jackson, mortal, widow, age 87). It is unknown how the Goblins gained entry past the Threshold, though almost certainly Glamour was involved. The Goblins arrived in Dallas using a previously established cover identity of a white supremacist motorcycle gang, the painfully uncreative “Die GroßeböseWölfe MC.” At this time it is unknown how long they were in the region prior to the events of the 29th.
The Theriomorph known as John Wolf (ex genere: Canis Lupus), as well as the Theriomorph Elena Torres (ex genere: Puma Concolor), and the wyldfae Dewdrop Fairie Chrysanthemum (Chrys) were all involved, though the events that brought their paths together is only partially known.
- An individual named Ella Hood (mortal) was involved with a charitable organization known as Meals-on-Wheels. Mr. Wolf is an associate of the Dallas District Attorney’s office and Ms. Hood’s mother, one Ms. Katherine Hood, also works in that office. Apparently Ms. Ella Hood is a delinquent that was ordered by the courts to perform community service. Mr. Wolf’s involvement may have been as a guarantor of behavior.
- At some point, the goblins devoured Mrs. Lucinda Jackson and took her residence as their den.
- Some form of street narcotic, known as “Flowers” (hallucinogenic, non-magical), was involved which appears to have attracted the attention of Ms. Torres. Ms. Ella Hood was “picking flowers” – a street euphemism for being under the influence of said narcotic – at the time of the events in question.
- The Dewdrop Fae appears to be unique in that she is very nearly fully Fae and yet retains a vestige of mortal free will. The individual has become something of a living “Tinkerbell to the Lost Boys” (quod vide “Peter Pan”) situation. Ms. Ella Hood appears to be, or was once part of, the “Lost Boys” that Chrysanthemum has “taken under wing” (apologies for the unintended but disturbingly appropriate pun).
The Theriomorphs are both, individually, talented and powerful trackers. It took very little time to backtrack the goblin activity and violently clear out the den.
The Accorded Fae Courts appear to be completely uninvolved and thus this report is submitted simply for chronicle purposes, I don’t believe any White Council response is required.
At this time, both Mr. Wolf as well as Ms. Torres are using their considerable knowledge of mortal investigative procedures to conceal the truth of matters. I believe the particular circumstances of this event are contained; however, I cannot say the same for the general involvement of the Court of the Erlking’s Daughter.
As always, in loyal service to the White Council,
