DFRPG DST Tips

June 2013 I created (and got approved) a pair of custom Dresden Files RPG DSTs (Dynamic Sheet Templates). I wanted to create a page where common customization questions could be placed and answered.

CSS Changes are done in your

  • From your Campaign Homepage
    • Find your “Manage Campaign” sidebar
      • Click “Edit Settings”
        • Scroll down to your “Custom CSS” block

I highly recommend that if you’re going to make custom changes to these DSTs to go ahead and add the CSS for both styles that I created. That way you can use either one as needed.

    • #campaign-content .ds_dfrpgsimplenpc h4 {font-family:Rye,Georgia,serif; font-weight:normal;}
    • #campaign-content .ds_dfrpgsimplenpc h5 {font-family:Rye,Georgia,serif; font-weight:normal;}
… and what about the Character Name?
  • For ‘DFRPG Simple with Magic’
    • #campaign-content .ds_dfrpgsimple h1 a.dst_character_name_link {font-family:Rye,Georgia,serif; font-weight:normal;}
  • For ‘DFRPG Simple’
    • #campaign-content .ds_dfrpgsimplenpc h1 a.dst_character_name_link {font-family:Rye,Georgia,serif; font-weight:normal;}

Add color:your-color; to whichever above you’re wanting to change. If you want to change the entire document, add it to #campaign-content .ds_dfrpgsimple {}

Why two different record sheets?

The "DFRPG Simple’ is for NPCs and anything that doesn’t throw around magical spells.

The ‘DFRPG Simple with Magic’ is the same, but with an added block to handle characters with Evocation/Thaumaturgy/or equivalent (Channeling, Ritual, Sponsored Spellcasting, etc.)
